Healthy Bodies/Germs

This week we talked about how we keep our bodies healthy, what germs are and how to keep them away! We learned how important our handwashing song is:
Wash, wash, wash your hands, play the handy game,
Scrub, scrub, scrub and scrub, Germs go down the drain!

We learned all about how germs spread by doing a fun activity using flour.  Flour represented our germs and we watched as the flour spread onto everything we touched.  Once we washed our hands the flour was gone and when we touched things the germs did not spread anymore because they went down the drain! We really understand how important it is to wash our hands!
