Good-bye summer!

We had so much fun with the theme "Good-bye summer" which was a whole lot of random fun and learning, but one of our favorites!!

We recapped a lot of what we learned this summer during each of our weekly themes. In addition we talked about the upcoming school year, the upcoming season and did some new activities. During our discussion of the season change, we talked about how the sun is very strong during the summer, but will become less strong during the next few months. The children learned how strong the sun is by doing a really cool activity in which we cooked an egg outside in the sun! The children were amazed by the activity and can't wait to try it again at the end of October to see what happens!
