Arctic and antarctic animals

We started off a cold week with the theme Arctic and Antarctic animals! We talked about the type of animals that live there and what the weather is like for them.



We put different shapes together to make a penguin!



We glued together marshmallows and gave the penguin some "ice".





We explored different textures as we used cotton balls, glue and shaving cream to make a polar bear!  Once this mixture dried it was a nice solid formation and the children enjoyed seeing the final result.
