We spent two weeks on the theme "Christmas". We learned about Christmas traditions and made Christmas presents. We decorated paper Christmas trees with numbers on them--we counted out an ornament for each number on the tree. After we were done we practiced writing the number on our own. We are doing so great with our numbers and we can't wait to take our number books home with us to show our families.
We had a pajama party and danced to music. Each day at naptime the elf came to visit us and left us a little treat for being so good. Some of us worked on our cutting by going through magazines and cutting out pictures of toys that we glued to our classroom stocking. We had a Peppermint Party and we all wore the colors of a peppermint.
