| During center time we had fun using the magnetic letters to make different words. |
Bugs Everywhere!
Last week our theme was BUGS! We incorporated all those itty bitty's into our lessons! We read the book Bugs, by Patricia and Fredrick McKissack. We used ladybug stamps to represent the number that was written on our paper. We made ant mazes and worm tunnels! During circle we represented the life cycle of a butterfly by using our bodies! We ate ant hills and ants for snack (crushed graham crackers and raisins) and also ate (gummy) worms and jell-o on a different day! We finished the very last letter of the alphabet--Z!! We painted zebra stripes on popsicle sticks and made our sticks into the letter Z. Some of us even wrote some "Z" words.
