Alphabet Tuesdays

Last week we sent home a letter to parents introducing the to "Alphabet Tuesday".  The letter was inside an envelope with the child's name.  The parent and child were given instructions to find something in their house that starts with the letter of the week AND fits in the envelope of course! The child was to bring the envelope with the object on Tuesday. Day one was a big success! The letter of the week is "S".  We had a straw,spoons, pictures of shoes, and a label off of a soup can! The children enjoyed showing their friends what they brought and it was a great way to bridge the home and school gap :) Until next Alphabet Tuesday....
